Origin Green Beans
Colombian Excelso – Bright acidity and good body. Very well balanced and clean flavour.
Guatemala SHB – Exhibits medium body and rich flavour. Floral acidity with a hint of chocolate or spice.
PNG A Grade – Earthy body with a fruity aroma. Versatile and well balanced.
Brazil Cerrado Alto Camelo – Clean and well balanced with low acidity. Nutty and caramel tones when roasted light and a darker roast has hints of chocolate.
Indian Plantation A Mysore – Subtle rich flavour with a hint of spice. Moderate body and acidity.
Ethiopian Yirgacheffe – Acclaimed for its sweet flavour and spicy fragrance. Light to medium body, vibrant aftertaste.
Indonesian Mandheling – Considered one of the world’s top specialty coffees. Full body will complex and intense earthy tones.
Kenya AB – Very highly regarded bean. Full body, rich and strong flavour with pleasant acidity and fragrant floral aroma.
Costa Rica – Good body with fruity and bright acidity. Very clean and crisp taste.
Mexican Altura – High quality bean known for its light body and nutty flavour. Pleasant light and delicate acidity.
Green Bean Blends
hbs Special – A subtle blend of Central and South American origins with the addition of Asian and Pacific beans. A flavoursome result with exceptional crema. It is well suited for all brewing methods including filter, plunger and espresso.
Riviera Blend – This blend has rich earthy tones with low acidity. It is ideal for light or medium roasting but can be roasted darker to release the full flavour of the bean and produce a lingering aftertaste.
Euro Espresso – This is our most popular blend. It is full bodied but it retains its smoothness. A fruity well balanced blend producing a floral aroma.
Decaf Green Beans
Swiss Water Decaf – The Swiss Water process uses water only (no chemicals) to remove the caffeine. This results in a higher quality taste with no chemical residues. The process involves first soaking the green beans in hot water. This causes the beans to release their caffeine. The liquid is then separated and passed through an activated carbon filter that traps the caffeine. The decaffeinated beans are then dried out and the majority of their flavour qualities are left intact.

Sumatra Fair Trade Organic – Considered one of the world’s top specialty coffees. Full body will complex and intense earthy tones.

Peru Fair Trade Organic – Fully washed. Low acidity with medium body. Rich fruity flavour with chocolate and spicy tones.
Timor Fair Trade Organic – Fully washed. Medium body and acidity with a distinct toffee aroma. Well balanced, fruity with malt and lemon notes and a raisin aftertaste. Sourced from family owned farms in the Maubisse Region.
